Hello DV! The ES-Section has started a very important initiative to support Ukraine, that we want to spread. Here is translated information from their section:

Registration for the Naturvetar Ball ticket draw is open! It closes on 18/12. A link to the registration can be found in the Naturvetar Ball’s biography on their instagram @naturvetarbalen!

UTN has started a joint collection box to support Musikhjälpen 2023, which this year is about ensuring that no one has to die of hunger.

All DV and IT students take the IOOPM course, and the technical backbone of the labs is Bubify, which takes care of the help queue and manages the accounting of demonstrations.

UPLANG, the programming languages research group at the IT department, is organising a hackathon on Friday 17/11 at 17:00 with the goal of getting interested students into hacking on OpenJDK, the open source implementation of Java.

The AUTUMN ASSEMBLY is approaching! What happens at the autumn assembly? At the meeting a completely new board for the section (Uppsala Datavetare) will be appointed.
